Hermosa Ecozone Project: Strategic Location

Hermosa Ecozone is connected to the Subic–Clark–Tarlac Expressway (SCTEx)
–– the major link to Subic Bay Freeport Zone and Clark Special Economic Zone.
The Hermosa Ecozone Project is an integral part of the Central Luzon West
Growth Corridor that is home to the region’s key investment areas for
tourism, industry and agriculture. Among the prominent developments in
this area include the Subic Bay Freeport in Zambales, the Clark Special
Economic Zone in Pampanga, Hacienda Luisita in Tarlac, and now Hermosa
Ecozone in Bataan.
Hermosa Ecozone is connected to the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEx),
the major link to Subic Freeport Zone and Clark Special Economic Zone.
The SCTEx is designed with over a dozen interchanges for ease of access,
and Hermosa Ecozone is connected to the SCTEx via a spur road to the
Dinalupihan Interchange, the first and only completed interchange along the
SCTEx from Subic. Thus, Hermosa Ecozone is uniquely situated with access
to the deepwater port facility of Subic and exising airports in both Subic
and Clark.
